Welcome to 2009-2010 School Year!

Hello all! I hope the year has begun well for you. Last year we had a very productive Professional Learning Network meeting and many expressed interest in meeting again.

For those of you that weren't able to join us last year, we met as a group of educators that are interested in technology. We talked in a round table group about new technologies we were using and asked for ideas from each other. This is not a closed group! Please invite any others you think may be interested in sharing and lea… Continue

We have been hacked!

I apologize if you received any messages from someone with the last name of Rios. She is NOT one of our group and has been blocked from the site. I tend to be too trusting and left the site open for anyone to join and unfortunately, I got burned. So, live and learn. I have now set the NING so that whenever someone wants to join they have to be approved first.

I'm sorry if you received any inappropriate comments from this outsider.

DAH

I ran out of school, walked w/Paula for therapy around Kiwanis and then headed home. I sat down to look for sites and ideas about GPS lessons. As I'm sitting here, it dawned on me that I just missed the ultimate resource of all! YOU! I'm so sorry I forgot! If anyone has successful or semi successful GPS plan would you be willing to share? I will definitely share what I gain with you asap. Maybe I'll see you all at the summer camp! Deborah

What's on your mind?

Hello all!

To get this going in the right direction, why don't we try to post something that is going well in our classes, something we have a question about, a problem we need help with, or any other idea you'd like to share.

This might be a spark to get our group going!

WOW!

WOW! What a GREAT group we had yesterday! I'm still excited after meeting everyone and listening to the ideas fly. I think we are off to a fabulous start and I can't wait to see what everyone adds to the NING and to our group!

Thanks so much for all that attended yesterday. If you weren't able to attend, we have set the date for the next "meeting" . We're going to meet on Wednesday, May 13th at 3:30 in room 601 at SanLee Middle. Feel free to bring someone with you that might be interested in ou… Continue

Hey Ginger. I also graduated from St. Andrews Presbyterian in December 2008. I am currently an instructional assistant at Broadway Elementary. I am hoping for a job for the new school year, which is not looking very promising.
